Project in progress: Carsoellaan

On the weekend of 13 and 14 July, an important two-day period dawned at the site on Avenue Carsoell in Uccle.

Indeed, the prestressed T-beams and parapets were placed there during a temporary line break. The 31 T-beams were produced at Van Maercke Prefab and were transported from there to the site by Stadsbader transport. Our colleagues at Stadsbader, using three of their own crews and a 130T crane, took care of the assembly. The parapet, which was partly manufactured by Van Maercke Prefab, was assembled on Sunday, with a tower crane from STADSBADER CONTRACTORS assisting.We also laid the platform, and the mixed project team coordinated the entire weekend.

We are highlighting our multidisciplinarity more than ever with this project. Among other things, we realised the construction of a new railway bridge, tramline and bicycle tunnel, the construction of the platform and all infrastructure on and around the new bridge. All disciplines of Stadsbader Group - infra, construction, engineering and civil engineering - are involved. All the more reason to highlight the team and the works on 13 and 14 July.
